Blue cheese dip

This dip is fantastic for buffalo wings, vegetable sticks (carrots, capsicum, cucumber…), fried potatoes and more. AND it is easy to make. Again – don’t be too fuzzy about the ingredients.

Ingredients:

200 ml blue cheese (basically you can use any type of blue cheese. It all comes down to how strong you want the dip. The stronger the blue cheese, the stronger it will taste.)

100 ml sour cream

50 ml mayonnaise

1 tbsp milk

1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon

A pinch of salt and pepper

Method:

Add the lemon to the milk, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. This is to make the milk sour and give it the taste of buttermilk. The milk will turn a bit lumpy however this is ok.

Add the blue cheese to a bowl and crumble it with a fork. OR if you have a hand held blender, use this!

Add the sour cream, mayonnaise and soured milk, salt and pepper and mix well. If you would like it lumpy, just use a fork. If you want it smooth, use a blender.

Let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes before use.

Done!
